Hi. I downloaded Spotify in Ubuntu and it goes well, but I would like to be able to run it in the background, as it can be done in Windows. Is this possible?

what do you mean by run it in the background?

I use kdocker to minimize stuff (mostly Spotify & Thunderbird) to the tray, if that's what you're looking for: https://packages.ubuntu.com/search?suite=default&section=all&arch=any&keywords=kdocker&searchon=names

Thx somnophobe! I don’t now about kdocker. It can solve my problem.

I found another solution. In kubuntu you can create diferents activities. I call one background and put there things like Spotify, which I do not want to see on the main desk.

try with Automate app for android

then:

Step: App Start

Package: com.spotify.music

Activity class: com.spotify.loginflow.QuickLoginActivity
