I've been experiencing an issue with Spotify's lyrics synchronization on the desktop apps. It appears that the lyrics go out of sync when crossfade or smooth transitions between songs are enabled. The lyrics seem to get ahead of the song, and the problem persists on both browser and client.

Steps to Reproduce:

Enable crossfade or smooth transitions between songs in your Spotify settings.
Start playing a playlist or album with lyrics enabled.
Observe that as the song changes, the lyrics go out of sync, appearing to be ahead of the music.

Temporary Workarounds:

Manually seek back a few seconds to resync the lyrics.
Pause the song and press play again to re-sync lyrics.

Additional Details:

I've tried experimenting with crossfade and smooth transition settings, but they don't seem to resolve the issue.
Others in the community have reported similar problems on Desktops.

If this issue continues without resolution, it raises concerns about the overall value of the Spotify service. Paying for a premium service should include a seamless music experience, which is currently impacted by this lyrics synchronization problem.

No idea how this has sat for this long, surely it's easy to fix this. It's also a problem with the DJ now as it basically cross fades regardless, having to pause and resume to re-sync is getting frustrating.

This is also not exclusive linux where it's reported, likely why this has sat here so long too... Occurring on my mac and linux machines, and I know people who experience on windows too.
