Randomly jumping seconds

Hello everyone,
Some days ago Spotify started to randomly skip seconds of a song. It's not happening on every song neither at every moment of the song. It's just happening at any moment that the song jumps for example from second 0:21 to second 0:27 without any human interacion.

I've tried removing the cache, removing and reinstalling the application through Snap and manually downloading the .deb file, but nothing has worked and the issue stills happening.

Device: Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon

Operating System: Ubuntu Linux 20.04.06 LTS
Spotify Verison: Spotify version 1.2.45.454.gc16ec9f6

Same here. The first time I complained to friends about this issue has been 7th August (written record), probably the issue started a bit earlier for me. I am also Ubuntu user.

Same problem here, it' happens when using the browser.

Been having the same issue on Linux Mint 22.2.

For context, it's currently November 22nd, 2025. OP posted this on October 12th, 2024.
