The app version of Spotify you’re using:
Spotify Flatpak (com.spotify.Client) from Flathub

Brief description of the issue:
The Spotify window on Linux shows a blue custom title bar with a red close button that does not match the desktop environment theme. On GNOME this looks visually inconsistent with the rest of the system applications.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

First I installed Spotify from Flathub (Flatpak).
Then I launched the application on GNOME (Wayland session).
The window appears with a blue Electron-style title bar that does not match the GNOME theme.

Expected behavior:
Ideally Spotify should support native window decorations for the most common Linux desktops such as GNOME and KDE so the system can render the header bar according to the user’s theme.

If native decorations are not possible, it would be great to provide a custom header bar that follows Spotify’s UI theme and includes minimal controls (for example a single close button).

This would make the application visually consistent with the Linux desktop environment.

Same here. On Fedora 43 with Gnome 49.4 on Wayland.

Installed Spotify with Flatpak, same weird blue titlebar.

Last Spotify update installed three weeks ago like the reply above, no new versions available.

so everyone the fix is use to launch the app in x11 the CEF in wayland is broken for spotify

spotify --ozone-platform=x11 this for terminal if you wanna add that to .desktop add %U at last

I use flatpak version of Spotify and running "flatpak run com.spotify.Client --ozone-platform=x11" does nothing. It doesn't even give me any error. I'm on Fedora 43 Gnome on Wayland
