[Linux] why is spotify for linux so bad

Hi , i am a user of Linux Mint and i use spotify....

but it is so buggy, like no bugs ever has been fixed.

And it is missing an icon in the tray 😕

So my question is:

Why is not spotify for linux as "good" as it is on windows and OSx?

And is there anyone that is updating spotify for linux?

I'd suggest going back to an earlier version of Spotify, until they work things out (I've been told they will).

I use 0.9.11.27 myself.
