Linux Open URL Fails

Issue: Opening a spotify playlist url will open the app, but not the playlist. Any fixes for this?

I'm running Ubuntu 15.10

Linux localhost 4.2.0-16-generic #19-Ubuntu SMP Thu Oct 8 15:35:06 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

So this allowed the web player to start working which is cool. Not sure how they are linked but when I pressed play on a site like, http://startupplaylists.com/ instead of opening spotify it started to play in the web player. Cool. I went to the web player settings, selected the checkmark to open in desktop app... and it worked! You're the best! Thanks.

Sorry to drag this old thread out but I had a quick question. Is there a dev repo I can add so I can keep getting updates?
