applescript 'play track' command still not working

It appears in the Spotify applescript dictionary as an accepted term, only it doesn't actually DO anything anymore. No error, just nothing.

This is after fixing the .plist applescript redirect error described in other threads:

"play track" command is NOT fixed. The above-liked thread should register only "partial solution". I'm posting this thread so the problem of "play track" applescript gets its own thread.

I have the exact same problem. No errors. Just doesn't do anything at all when using the 'play track' command.

+1 for this one !

I hope the fix promised by the Spotify developer here http://stackoverflow.com/questions/29039514/applescript-to-tell-spotify-to-play-isnt-working-after-osx-update-to-yosemite will also fix the Play Track command and not simply fix the .sdef path because it only fixes partially the problem (Play Track is still broken).
