Spotify ignoring automatic start-up feature

I couldn't find a real solution for this problem, but my apologies if this has already been posted or asked before.

Ever since I installed Mac OS High Sierra spotify has been automatically starting upon booting up the computer. After having turned off the "automatic start-up" feature twice already, I noticed spotify does not remember this setting. Everytime I turn this feature off and close spotify, it's turned on again automatically after launching the app.... which basically results in me not being able to turn off this feature, very annoying!

Does anyone know if there is a solution for this?

Hi luke4893,

There's an area in your Mac settings (system preferences>users & groups>login items) you can check and see if Spotify is enabled on startup.

I'm not sure if this is something you've already tried yet, but thought I'd mention. 🙂
