Spotify won't download!

I have had spotify for a while now but about a month ago it deleted itself from my laptop. I have tried at least 10 times to re install it but after I have pressed run, the spotify installer just disappears. Someone please help? It is so annoying!

Interesting.

Can you see if there is any Spotify process running in Task Manager - kill it if so and then try the installation. Does that help?

If not, are you sure the old one has actually been deleted? Check in the Programs and Features section of Control Panel and if you still see it there uninstall from there before trying to reinstall.

I have been having the same issue and tried both of the above suggestions and neither worked for me. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I have deleted my old account and deleted all Spotify files on my Mac, and have tried unsuccessfully to download the program again with a new account. Please help! When I click on restart download, absolutely nothing happens.

Try using one of the following links:

For Windows - http://download.spotify.com/Spotify%20Installer.exe

For Mac - http://download.spotify.com/Spotify.dmg

Spotify kept saying one day that whenever I opened it I would get the "The spotify application is not responding" screen so ive tried like 20 times to redownload it but it keeps telling me spotify is open somewhere? please help!!

My computer keeps saying It isnt responding either! I'm able to use spotify on my phone and on my computer (until a few days ago). I uninstalled spotify and tried to re install it multiple times and nothing is working!

This helped me! Thank you. I thought I had deleted everythng but somehow it was still running in task manager. I was able to redownload it after I ended the tasks!
