&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Spotify is incredibly slow on my Mac.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I have taken the following steps to rectify, but Spotify remains my slowest application:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;-Reinstalled (3 times)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;-Restart computer&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;-Install all updates&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;-Disable all local file sources&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;-Reduce cache to maximum of 1GB&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Despite these attempts, Spotify is incredibly slow. It takes at least 2 minutes to load the 'Browse' page, and a further two minutes until it is smooth. I have also excluded my internet connection as the issue.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;As a Premium User, it is unacceptable that this paid service is nearly unusable. I have run the application on Windows PC&amp;nbsp;and it has been running perfectly.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I am using the following:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Model Name: MacBook Pro&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; Model Identifier: MacBookPro10,1&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; Processor Name: Intel Core i7&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; Processor Speed: 2.3 GHz&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; Number of Processors: 1&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; Total Number of Cores: 4&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; L3 Cache: 6 MB&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; Memory: 8 GB DDR3 1600MHz&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; Storage: 250GB SSD&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Software&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp; OS X 10.9.5 (13F34)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;An update seems to be the only logical solution. As continued use of the current application will force me to find another music streaming service and discontinue my subscription.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
