Updates on Mac OS

How are updates communicated or downloaded for the MacOS app? I don't see a check for updates? They are pushed for the iOS devices. Curious as to how it works on Mac OS since it wasn't downloaded through the App store.

Hey there @minimejdh!

Every time you boot up Spotify it automatically checks if there is an update. and updates are pushed to the client. When an update is availble, you'll get a blue notification bar on the client that'll say something like "Restart to update." 🙂
