Two Songs Playing At Once

I (regretfully) updated to the new version of Spotify for mac and it seems buggy, noteably because it keeps playing two songs at once.

If I'm clicking through a playlist to different songs, it ends up having 2 songs going. I can pause/control one of them, but the other is just playing from the background and won't stop until I close Spotify.

Hi there!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps. Also, could you try updating your OS, as I checked and the latest version of macOS is 10.13.6 🙂

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?
