[Desktop] Spotify takes forever to load

My Question or Issue

The Desktop app always takes forever to load content. Has anyone else ever had this problem? I've noticed this for a while, but today seems to be taking especially long--I opened the Desktop app about half an hour ago and it's still buffering whenever I click on a playlist or my library. Admittedly my computer is a few years old, but everything else loads up fine.

Hey @anna_ka, welcome to the Community.

Hope you are doing great!

Try to disable Hardware Acceleration, just click on the spotify Menu in your Menu Bar next to the Apple Menu, just find Hardware Acceleration and next click on it to disable then confirm to restart Spotify.
Also, if you don't use local files try to disable them inside Settings.
