My Question or Issue

Hello! I cannot download the Spotify app to my MacBook Air as it says it requires 10.13 or higher. However, I cannot download a higher OS version on this laptop. Have any solutions?

Currently, the app will only work on desktops and laptops running OS X 10.13 or above. For more info, we suggest that you check this article.

In this case, we'd recommend playing Spotify from your browser on our web player.

Open Finder on your mac and click Go > Library (if you don't have hidden folders enabled, press the option key first and it should appear).
Go to Cache, look for a folder that contains Spotify in its name and delete it.
Reinstall the app.
