Is there a way to download older versions of the spotify client?

I honestly despise the new interface of the spotify client, and want to desperately return to the old spotify client. any version in 2022 and before is fine, just save me from this godawful client.

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

We understand where you're coming from, but keep in mind that there isn’t an official way to install an older version of the Spotify app. All users should only download the app from our official website. This way, we can advise adequate alternatives for the inconveniences.

That being said, if you're referring to this new desktop UI, you're welcome to let us know in that thread all your constructive comments on the matter. We're constantly monitoring the mentioned thread as we really appreciate our user's feedback, we know our Community want to make the best out of their listening experience.

If you have some specific suggestions about the features in the app, you can post them, one at a time, in our Ideas board. Take into account that you must follow the guidelines for submitting ideas, so your suggestion will be approved more quickly and smoothly.

Totally agree with ilovesour. Just found Spotify automatically updated on both my Mac desktop and MacBook Pro. The new interface is appalling! Up until yesterday, the interface was logical and easy to use. Now I can't find anything. The layout is nonsensical and confusing. How do I get a list of my custom folders and playlists back - you know, like it's a proper folder/directory structure? I'm all for progress, but this isn't. Looking around the forums, there are thousands of complaints about it already. Please, please, please bring back the old layout.
