Capitalization in Local Files will not change

Hello, I have been using the Local Files feature to let me listen to music not on Spotify. However, I have come across an issue with naming the tracks. For example, if I upload a track and I put the title in all lowercase, it will appear in the app lowercase. However, if I decide to change it later and modify the capitalization, it will change everywhere but on Spotify. This only happens with the capitalization of the tracks and with nothing else. Changing the author, album art and album still works fine.

Things I have tried to do to bypass this:

-Undownloaded the tracks and re-downloaded them (using the green down arrow)

-Remove the tracks from the local files folder and all playlists and re-add them.

-Remove the tracks from the folder synced with local files on my desktop and reading it

-Various combinations of all 3 tactics listed

Does anyone know how to bypass this? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

So basicaly I when I change a single lowercase letter in a local file name for a capital one, Spotify still recognize it as a lowercase letter

Exact situation here: I had a local file song downloaded in my Spotify named 'Just a Step Away' but decided to change it to 'Just A Step Away'. Now my computer, music player, etc. recognize the song as 'Just A Step Away'. Everything except Spotify. When I upload the song again (I deleted it first when I wanted to change the name) Spotify still sees it as 'Just a Step Away' even though everywhere else it's shown as 'Just A Step Away'. I know it's nothing serious but it really annoys me that I can't change it.

Hi, thanks for replying. If I do change the track names to something different, it does fix the capitalization. I have been using this to help fix some of the tracks but it is difficult when the song only goes by one name. Thank you for showing the idea, I'll be sure to check it out.

I also noticed this. It would only capitalize the title if it was something other than the original title, even if it was a single character that was different. I fixed this by simply searching "invisible character" online and then copying and pasting it onto the end of the song title. It looks no different but makes the title capitalized. Overall it's a weird and annoying bug but I hope this helped!
