Can't repeat one song while in "Recommendation mode"

Issue

If you play a playlist without the "Repeat Playlist" mode, after all songs had been played from playlist, Spotify enters (that's what I call it) "Recommendation mode" where it plays random songs which you might like. The issue is that you can't turn on "Repeat Song", which I think is a bug, because why shouldn't you have an option to repeat one song that you like. It shouldn't matter where it came from.

I guess that bug has it's origins in the code responsible for blocking the "Repeat" button when "Recommendation mode" kicks in, but because the "Repeat" button serves two different functions ("Repeat Playlist" and "Repeat Song"), the later one has been accidentally turned off as well, while the first one is turned off purposely.

Minimal required steps to reproduce the issue

1. Make a playlist containing at least two songs

2. Turn off "Repeat Playlist" mode

3. Play that playlist

4. Skip song two times

Can confirm it seems like it would be locked off due to not allowing playlist repeats.

Spotify team should add new functionality for the button, specifically the right-side repeat button, to check if on a recommended list or not (or whatever the mode class is). If true, only allow Repeat Once as an option. Which per this article: duh!

The other concerns here are if maybe this functionality bricks anything else. Obviously an issue.

But workarounds and changes should work because if even the non-paid, community forums can figure this out, surely the devs hired could too. No, it sounds like maybe the team at Spotify has other concerns, like catering to the sponsors, partners, and third-party shareholders where obviously regular user functionality comes last. So, screw us, right?

I could redesign this easily in like two minutes, if given access to source, and I'm just someone loosely-versed in programming languages. That will never happen, and even 2 years later, this will never be fixed. Good luck, next person reading this.

Sadly, Spotify continually treat their paid users with contempt, removing basic, fundamental features of music playback. Pure ugly corporate greed, in the ugliest treatment of customers I have ever seen. They want total control over our listening and don't give a **** about the user experience we pay for.

Spotify moderator said: "it sounds like a cool feature to have" WTH!? Telling us it is 'cool' to have control over our music removed. WTH?!
