We know you mentioned that your firewall was inactive, but we suggest that you double-check if maybe &lt;A href="https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/change-firewall-settings-on-mac-mh11783/mac" target="_blank"&gt;some settings&lt;/A&gt; are still enabled and if so, make sure to set Spotify as an exception.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Additionally, we'd recommend disabling any antivirus or ad-blocking software, and turning off any VPNs if in use.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the aforementioned steps don't do the trick, would you mind giving a different internet connection a go to see if the same happens?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Keep us posted on how it goes.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Plan&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Premium&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Country&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;America&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Device&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Macbook Air&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Operating System&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;iOS 14.5&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;My Question or Issue&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;OKAY SO- it started when my spotify for desktop suddenly stopped working. it wouldn't load songs, menus, podcasts, or even playlists. it was all just buffering and blank. i tried restarting my computer, but that didnt yield any results. i then reinstalled spotify incase something was just wrong with my program in specific, but now i can't even log in? i have no area to input a username and password, just a green button that says "log in". it takes me to a website that *does* know my account, but when i click "continue to the app ", it tries to load another website, then fails. the website tells me to try again or come here (community help), and the app tells me that my firewall is blocking spotify? but my firewall is inactive, so it shouldnt be blocking anything. &amp;nbsp;how do i log in??&lt;/P&gt;</description>
