Settings constantly resetting

My Question or Issue

My settings continually reset. For example I've switched off the canvas feature (short looping videos) and it continues to switch back on. I set my equalizer to 'Rock' and it switches back to 'Flat'. I switch on 'Show Local Files' and it continually switches off. I order a playlist by 'date added' and it switches back. How can I stop these settings from automatically resetting?

Thanks for posting in the Community!

Did you notice when this started happening for the first time and have you performed any troubleshooting steps so far? Do the settings reset if you log out > back in or when you close the app then reopen it?

I recommend giving Spotify a clean reinstall with the steps here as it also includes steps to clear the cache, which can cause different performance issues if it's corrupted.
