My Question or Issue

The DJ says to hold the button to give it suggestions (which I assume would be spoken) but holding the button does nothing and it definitely doesn't respond to anything I say. How is this supposed to work?

Hey @ettiave! Welcome to the community!

I just performed some tests on Windows, and the only functionality I have with the DJ button is to click it once to change the songs; I don't have the hold function. After reading the Spotify article on DJ, it appears that this functionality is only available for iOS and Android, not the desktop app. I'll see what I can find out for you and update you when I have some concrete information.

Hey, @ettiave!

I've just confirmed, at this stage the Tap and Hold feature is only available on mobile devices and not on the desktop app! If you would like, this sounds like a great idea to implement the feature on Desktop, head over to the Ideas board and submit this as an idea for fellow community members to vote on so the lovely people at Spotify know how much we want this feature!
