Hide Spotify in Menu bar

Hi,

On windows there is (was?) the possibility to hide Spotify in the taskbar instead of having it as a classic window.
Would it be possible to add the same behavior on Mac and hide Spotify inside a Menubar icon?

I always have it playing in the background and manage it with keyboard shortcuts.

Having one window less in the application switcher would be really appreciated!

We can confirm this is not possible on Mac devices. We understand where you're coming from and why you'd like to see this implemented. We'd recommend you post an idea about it, making sure you follow our Idea exchange Guidelines, so other users can find it easily and show their support.
