Smart shuffle on desktop

I want to buy Spotify premium but i Cant see Smart shuffle feature in the desktop app.
Smart shuffle is present in the mobile app, but there is no smart shuffle feature in the desktop version.
Can you help me if this feature is in active development or when it will come out on desktop

Smart Shuffle is available in the desktop app - to enable it, just choose a playlist and click twice on the shuffle icon just beside the play button.

ur answer is not helpful... did u read his problem? i guess no u have not.....
Like he write, i have same problem: I dont can enable smart shuffle on desktop....

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

You should be able to turn Smart Shuffle on/off via the steps provided by @Bittencourt. Something you should note, however, is that the feature is only available for user-created playlists. This means that you cannot activate Smart Shuffle for Spotify-created playlists, such as Discover Weekly, Release Radar, your Daily Mixes, etc.

Check out the screenshots below for a closer look:

You can enable Smart Shuffle by tapping the "Shuffle" icon.
You can also enable the feature from the Now Playing Bar.
Personalized or Spotify-created playlists don't support Smart Shuffle, only the regular one.

I'm late to this party but was just Googling this because smart shuffle isnt working on the desktop app. Am I supposed to tick a box somewhere or something to enable it?

Thanks for reaching out.

The process to using Smart Shuffle on desktop is slightly different now, but still functions the same. All you have to do is open a playlist and tap the shuffle icon twice, either at the top of the playlist before starting it or in the Now Playing field at the bottom. When it turns on, you should see a notification that recommendations have been added to the queue.

Does this work for you? If the option isn't there, make sure it's enabled from the settings as shown at the end of this article. If it still doesn't work and you continue to face issues with it, let us know in more detail what the exact behaviour is and we'll be glad to help you.
