&lt;P&gt;There might be some corrupted cache and leftover files during the reinstallation process that might be causing this, so we recommend performing a clean reinstall by following &lt;A href="https://community.spotify.com/t5/FAQs/Perform-a-clean-reinstall-of-the-app/ta-p/4746485" target="_blank"&gt;these steps&lt;/A&gt; instead to make sure they're cleared.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Another thing worth trying is flushing DNS and restarting your Mac afterwards:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Open the terminal by using Spotlight Search or by pressing Command + Space and then type &lt;STRONG&gt;Terminal&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Double-click the application icon for Terminal to open it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Type in “&lt;STRONG&gt;sudo dscacheutil -flushcache;sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder&lt;/STRONG&gt;” without quotes&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Enter your Mac’s password&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Press &lt;STRONG&gt;Enter &lt;/STRONG&gt;to complete&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;

 In this case, we'd suggest you &lt;STRONG&gt;clear the host files&lt;/STRONG&gt; of your Mac. You can follow the steps on &lt;A href="https://community.spotify.com/t5/FAQs/Clearing-hosts-file/ta-p/6130332" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;this article&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/A&gt; to do it. Make sure you're running the latest OS version available for your device.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;
 Another thing worth trying is rebooting your computer in &lt;A href="https://support.apple.com/en-hk/guide/mac-help/mh21245/10.15/mac/10.15" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Safe mode&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/A&gt;, and then try installing the app again in Safe mode as well. Afterwards, reboot your device to see how it goes.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;
