Streaming to Airport Express from iPhone 6s

Hi,
Spotify streams perfectly from my MacBook Pro to 2nd gen Airport Express but not from my iPhone 6s. Had the same problem with my iPhone 6. I've reset/rebooted all the devices in the chain and still not working. As you can imagine it's infuriating. Instead of listening to music I spend hours trying to fix it. Any help gratefully received.

Could you check for me if your Airport express has the latest Firmware?

Also, are you using the latest Spotify app on your iPhone?

Hi Jean, I think it's using 7.6.4 - that's what it says in the Aiport Utility at any rate. It has workied in the past with Spotify although I just tried it this morning with iTunes and that's not working either. Still working perfectly with the MacBook.

I suggest you try a clean reinstall and see if this helps, This usually fixes most problems 🙂

Note: This will remove any saved offline tracks and cache 🙂
