Song suddenly plays different soundtrack

I've been listening to 'Tidal Wave by Snowmine' for a couple of days now and I love the song!! Only all of the sudden when I play the song on my macbook it plays a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT song? Like how does this suddenly happen?

When I play the same song on the spotify webplayer it is completely fine? Please does anyone know how to fix this? 😞

Hello there and welcome to the community,

I tried the song on the desktop and it works fine for me.

Do you listen it from a playlist or from the single song on artist page ?

If you listen it from a playlist, try this and see if it works for you :

- Open Preferences -> Under "Display Options" set "Show unavailable tracks in playlists" to enabled.
- Open the playlist, sort by Name, scroll down until you have passed titles with number in their names. There you should see empty rows.
- Delete the empty rows.
- Now the playlist should work again.

When I play the song on the spotify web player it works yes. But when I use spotify on my desktop (I have a Macbook pro 2012) it plays a completely different song, its like a country ish type song. This weird unknows song plays both when I press play on the artists page and in my own playlist 😞

Try to paste this in the Spotify search box, type enter and see what you get :
