Friend feed keeps appearing

Just updated today to version 1.0.3.101.bgfa97dfe

Running OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 on macbook pro retina from late 2013

As of the new update, my friend feed keeps appearing on its own. I always keep my friend feed turned off, and when I restarted the program it was visible. I went to "view" and the friend feed was unchecked. I checked it and the feed stayed visible. I unchecked it and it disappeared.

I was listening to a lot of different albums in discover and every once in a while the friend feed would reappear when I clicked the play button of an album. It happened about four times.

Each time, going up to the view menu, the friend feed was still unchecked. I had to check and uncheck it in order for it to disappear.

This has also happened a few times while skipping through a radio made from a playlist, but not nearly as often as when in discover.

Still happens after restarting Spotify, but I haven't yet tried restarting my computer. Strange, eh?

Hi there and welcome to the community,

Could you try doing a full reinstallation of the app, including removing your local cache/data files. It might be that your preferences are not saving right.

Ok I reinstalled like you said. Now to play the waiting game and see if it happens again...
