Note that we recommend installing the app version from the Microsoft Store as it's the one best optimized for Windows 10. Afterwards you should also check your host files.       <title>Spotify Instantly Crashes/Exits on Random</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This update broke the experience for me.&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;Can't even listen to music on my PC anymore.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I've never experienced Spotify (Desktop Win10) application crashing on me. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Ever since the latest update, Spotify would randomly crash (disappear instantly) &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Turning off hardware acceleration didn't fix this&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I don't use Local Files with Spotify, so this was never enabled over the years &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Changing the Offline Storage Location from a M.2 SSD drive to a spindle HDD did not work&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Anyone have any ideas?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
