&lt;P&gt;Good job on checking first whether or not a reinstall solves the issue, in most such cases it does. However, could you give it another go with &lt;A href="https://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Answers/How-can-I-perform-a-clean-reinstall-of-the-app/ta-p/4746485" target="_blank"&gt;these&lt;/A&gt; steps and run a clean reinstall? These ones are more thorough. That way you can make sure the cache is not causing this issue.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Also note that we recommend installing the app version from the Microsoft Store, as it's the one best optimized for Windows 10.&lt;/P&gt;

I can for example press play and listen to the last song that was playing but I cant search for songs or open playlist. I have to close spotify and kill the process in the task manager and relaunch. If I just close and open it says spotify running but not responding.
