Hey @dleowhite,

There are a few things you can try that might help resolve this.

First off, we'd recommend making sure your drivers are up to date. You can find more info on how to do this, along with some other suggestions, in this article.

There's also another thread here on a related issue with a possible workaround that might help in your case as well.

Lastly, it's worth checking whether adjusting the sound quality of your external speakers to a lower setting (eg 24 bit and 192000Hz) makes a difference.

If none of the above works, you can also consider using our web player.

Hope you'll find this info useful. Let us know how you get on.

When I switch to my internal laptop speakers it plays back fine. When I switch back to my external speakers when a song is playing Spotify crashes.

Any suggestions?

Hi there @dleowhite,

Thanks for the post!

Can you let us know how you connect to the speaker - via Bluetooth or WiFi?

Also, can you play music from Spotify on the speaker if you stream from your phone or another device?

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

The speakers are neither bluetooth nor wifi, they connect via USB. All other computer audio plays through it no problem.
