Song Distortion/Robotic vocals

For some reason, desktop spotify makes my songs sound distorted, with the vocals sounding robotic. This only occurs on desktop spotify, with every song I play. I'm currently on a premium plan and using Windows 10. I've already looked on Google for a solution, but only found 1 post with the same problem from 2014, with a solution that did not help my case. If it's of any importance, my headphones are Roccat Elo 7.1 USB.

Could you give these steps a go and run a clean reinstall? This one is more thorough than the usual one.

In case you're using the app from our website, you can download it from the Microsoft store to see if that makes a difference.

Does the issue occur also when you're not using the headphones?
