Lyrics not working

My Question or Issue

I have noticed that the lyrics feature does not function with the Premium feature, I have compared it with two different accounts, one with and without Premium, and yes, it did show up for non-premium because it showed the microphone icon.

^ You can see it doesn't have a tab where I can swipe up to see the lyrics.

^ 2nd screenshot is non-premium (Free)

^ The microphone icon shows up and plays the lyrics fine but---

v This screenshot below does not have the feature.

I hope Spotify Team can fix this issue that has been ongoing for a long time in my case, I really don't want to use a second app like Musixmatch that pops up on my screen just to see the lyrics, why can't I just look on the lyrics like people with no subscription? Such a downgrade for Premium users.

Can you confirm if you tried these accounts on the same device?

It would also be great if you can check so that you're not listening while being on offline mode on your Premium account by following the steps bellow:

Tap Home .
Tap Settings .
Tap Playback.
Switch Offline off.

Hello. I'm facing the same issue. I checked the office mode and it's toggled off only. I tried reinstalling the application but no use. Please look into it.

I cannot confirm but I used lyrics previously and I don't remember whether it was as a premium user or in a free version.

Thank you for your reply!

The lyrics feature is still in test phase, so some users may not see it on their account and some users may see it for a certain period of time.

Try logging out and back in twice and see if that makes a change. If not, you can try creating a new account with another email address and transfer you music collection over to that account following the steps from this Guide.

Hello,

I have problem with Spotify lyrics on my android phone(p30 pro), I'm using version 8.6.84.1240, I'm premium user.

It seems that I don't have lyrics, I can confirm that I never had them. The place where lyrics should be I have "Storyline" for certain songs. I tried logging out and login 2 times, didn't help. Anyone have solution for my problem?

Hey, ive been also having a problem with my lyrics button just dissapearing (the michrophone one). I usually like to jam to albums while reading the lyrics, but one time I just opened spotify and it was gone. I have a windows 10 by the way. I would be happy to know if you had any way to solve my problem.
