Is repeat 1 available when using a spotify connect device?

Premium on Windows 10 using the Spotify Desktop App

Repeat 1 is available when 'Connect to a Device' is set to: 'This Computer'

Repeat 1 is not available when 'Connect to a Device' is set to: 'LivingRoom'

(note LivingRoom is a spotify connect device)

1) Why is this?

I would like to use Repeat 1 while using a spotify connect device.

2) Did Repeat 1 ever work when using a spotify connect device?

Yes and thanks for asking! Repeat is supposed to work perfectly in sync with the connect feature. If it is giving you problems then I suggest you simply go to Spotify.com, then scroll down to click on Sign Out of All Devices. This will log you out from all devices (also you might need to re-download your offline library after this). Once you are done with this, login again and see if it is working now. Let us know how it goes.

- ok i see what is happening now

- Repeat 1 does work when the spotify connect device is a Chrome Cast Audio

- Repeat 1 does not work when the spotify connect device is a Raspberry Pi running the raspotify service. The raspotify service makes the Raspberry Pi look like a spotify connect device.

- raspotify does support Repeat Playlist but not Repeat 1.

- It looks like the raspotify service is the issue and not Spotify
