My Question or Issue

ive tried to update my discovery weekly,

UNfollow Discover Weekly if you currently have it set to Follow.

Log out of Spotify.

Close Spotify.

Open Spotify.

Log into Spotify.

Launch Discover Weekly.

didnt work.

is there anything ells i can do?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community and welcome!

Your Discover Weekly playlist updates automatically every Monday, based on your listening activity and recently played content.

If it hasn't updated, or if you're not happy with the suggestions, just keep listening to more music you love and giving feedback (hearting or hiding songs) so the app can learn what you like.

It’s worth noting that Discover Weekly doesn’t eavesdrop on your private listening, so be sure not to be on a Private session when you’re aiming to feed it with your taste. More info here.

thank you for taking the time to help with my issues,

so the dsicovery weekly is identical to last week its becaue i havent listened to enough music or interacted with the playlist by hearting or hiding song? even if i add the songs to playlists i enjoy its not the same as hearting?
if I only listen to the discovery playlist for that week than does the mean i wont have one the next week?
im sorry for all these follow up question, im just trying to make sure i can enjoy my spotify as much as possible and my discovery weekly is what i look forward to the most.
I just want to make sure i can have a discovery weekly every week.
i dont use private session.
i mostly just have one big lpaylist with all my music that i listen to beside the discovery.
sorry if this came of like a rant, i was just frustrated and hoped i could find a fix for this week. thank you kindly and ill just wait till next weeks discovery.
any other info you could share would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply.

Try listening to some song through the Search option and also liking songs with the Heart button. This way will generate recommendations more often.

The Discover Weekly playlist updates when the system has gathered enough data on your listening activity. Listening to music only through discover playlists doesn't influence the algorithm.

Let us know if your DW updates next week after following these recommendations.
