Spotify explained the new privacy settings. There may still be debate about if this is the right fix; for example, I can search for folks I am following, click on their profile, and see what they listened to recently. Problem is, they no longer appear in the Friend Activity sidebar. I had a thought - could it be only targeted toward Facebook friends and stopped including profiles you are following? I am following people I am not friends with on Facebook, and those are all gone. To be fair, I am still experiencing both issues where even some of my Facebook friends no longer appear in my list (again, they are sharing activity as it can be viewed by clicking on their profile).
