[Desktop] Changing the Music volume INGAME

Sometimes you need to hear staps of the enemy ingame... but dont like to altways pause your musik.

The should be the possibility to change the SPOTIFY VOLUMEN with a Hotkey.

But only the volumen of spotify.

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community 🙂 We moved your post from Ideas to the help boards as it's content fits better here.

Keep in mind that an idea for a global hotkey is set to Case Closed as this is something we won't implement. However, you can change the volume from the Spotify app or the Windows Volume Mixer without affecting other apps such as the game you're playing.

If your idea isn't the same as the one above, we'd suggest submitting it again highlighting the differences between both ideas.

Been fighting this exact thing for years while gaming. A few options that actually work: AutoHotkey if you like scripting, or Toastify, though that one's no longer maintained. I got annoyed enough that I ended up building a small free Windows app for it called DuckDeck. Full disclosure, it's mine. It changes just your Spotify volume with global hotkeys, never touches game or system audio, and works in fullscreen. Free version covers volume up/down/mute, and it's on GitHub if you want to look before installing. Happy to help if you run into anything.
