App playing in stereo only, despite enabling the "Mono audio" in settings

My left speaker stopped working recently. I am fine with using right speaker only, but even after enabling mono audio on spotify parts of some songs just do not play(or supposedly try to play on the dead speaker, even after i unplugged it). Playing those songs on other apps with enforced mono works just fine. This is a spotify only problem. How can i solve this?

Is this true only for certain songs or for every song/ podcast you try playing?

It might depend on the track itself and the way it was uploaded by the rights holder to the platform.
