Spotify this content is not available/ missing folder

When I try to play music from my files on my desktop, I just get the message: "This content is not available". I was looking for solutions and read, that I'm supposed to clear the cache, but there is no Spotify folder at %appdata% > roaming. I didn't find anything else so I just uninstalled the program and installed it again, but nothing has changed. No folder and no music!

Just to confirm, are you referring to your local files?

If so, we suggest that you take a look at this article to make sure you've followed the correct steps.

If after following those steps the issue persists, it's well worth running a clean reinstall of the app to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. This one is more thorough than the usual one.
