My Question or Issue

I have spent a lot of time trying to figure this out on my own. I am NOT very "computer-wise" so it's been a challenge. Spotify has been crashing within 2-3 seconds every time I open it. I uninstalled and reinstalled it countless times, all with different variations of restarted the computer inbetween each step. Then I saw the advice to do a "clean reinstall". I was fine with trying that, but once I got to the %appdata% and local files and I was supposed to delete all Spotify files, there were none. Nothing. No sign of Spotify anywhere. I've reinstalled Spotify twice this way, and there are NEVER any files in %appdata or local" and it closes in seconds after opening every time still. Again, I know nothing about computers, but that seems like a problem?!!?? Any suggestions?

Hello @adavy .

There have been many reports of the desktop app crashing and it seems related to the latest Windows update.

It is now an Ongoing Issue meaning it's being looked into.

What you can do is to head over to that thread, leave a VOTE+ and subscribe so that you can get any new developments at the earliest.
