My Question or Issue

Hello!

I have recently ran into a problem with my Spotify application.

Whenever I play music in the background while playing games on my laptop, the Spotify app will suddenly close and stop playing music after x amount of songs (usually 3-4 songs). As soon as the song itself finishes, Spotify closes fully.

I have tried to restart my computer, reinstalling Spotify, as well as turning off all the Local Files which I've seen mentioned in other threads, and nothing has helped.

This type of case is usually related to some damaged cache stored from previous updates. We understand you’ve already tried some troubleshooting steps including reinstalling. However, we’d like to suggest a clean reinstall as this is more thorough than a regular one and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

If the issue persists, could you check if using the Web Player makes any difference? This will give us a better look at the issue.

Lastly, would you mind including in your next response the Spotify version you're currently running on your Laptop?
