&lt;P&gt;We'd like to start with mentioning that there may be restrictions on what metadata Spotify can read.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Can you try updating it manually?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;We can also suggest that you make sure there's no old cache files causing this by following the steps &lt;A href="https://community.spotify.com/t5/FAQs/How-can-I-perform-a-clean-reinstall-of-the-app/ta-p/4746485" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Another useful step is to change the source folder of the local files on the pc. The steps are: &lt;A href="https://support.spotify.com/article/reinstallation-of-spotify/" target="_blank"&gt;Uninstall &lt;/A&gt;Spotify on both devices &amp;gt; create a new folder somewhere else on the pc and move the local files there &amp;gt; &lt;A href="https://support.spotify.com/article/reinstallation-of-spotify/" target="_blank"&gt;install &lt;/A&gt;Spotify again &amp;gt; remove any potential source folders and add the new one &amp;gt; download the playlist again.&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Somehow I have local FLAC files but none of them have their cover art displaying despite in other apps cover arts are properly shown.
