Why does Spotify block Cloudflare WARP?

My Question or Issue

Whenever I have enabled Cloudflare WARP, Spotify stops working and all songs are greyed out. This started recently, maybe 2 weeks ago.

When I click to play song, it shows "This content is not available".

Thanks for the post.

The Spotify app itself doesn't block any sort of VPN or traffic filtering service, however those services block traffic from and to certain networking ports necessary for Spotify to work, much like a firewall. Sometimes these services also alter your IP address and Spotify is using location services to filter streamable content, since some content is not available in every country due to copyrights. This is why you can't use the Spotify app while Cloudflare WARP is active.

In general we don't recommend using any type of VPN as we can't guarantee that the app will work properly with it.

open 1.1.1.1 aka warp setting then connects then change "warp" to https, Spotify doesn't support warp sockets
