[Solved] Spotify on Windows 10 not showing in iPhone Other Devices

For a long time I've used Spotify on my iPhone to control the Spotify App on a Windows 10 PC (my Media Centre) to play music. Both are on the same network in my home.

About 6 months ago the Windows PC stopped appearing in Other Devices so I could no longer connect to it.

[EDIT] Issue solved and of course it was something obvious. I had set up a VPN on that PC which auto-connects upon startup. Closing the VPN connection allows Spotify to connect to this PC.

Thanks for posting in the Community! Apologies for the delayed response, we just came across this thread.

Great that you've managed to solve the situation for yourself in the meantime. Yes indeed, VPN usage is not supported by the app and this may create access issues to some Spotify web pages, so it's not recommended.
