topic Fix Local Files after Switching Computer? in Desktop (Windows)

So I just got a new laptop and now all of the Local Files that I had saved in playlists and Liked Songs are greyed out, and clicking on them to play them gives the message "This content is not available". Is there any way I can get them to play again, in the same order as they were before, without having to remove/unlike them all and then re-add/-like them again?

Hey @papapyro,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community.

As you're logging into a new laptop, it's possible that you need to resync the local files, or save the original audio file on the new laptop. Also, since the process to link your local files has changed recently, we'd recommend taking a look at this article to check the new process and sync your local files again.

If the issue persists, include in your next response the make, model and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating your case.

Hope this helps. If anything else comes up, don't hesitate to ask.
