Trying to use spotify while playing a game but no matter what i do the keybind "ctrl + right arrow" or anything like that doesn't work. I just want to paly some music and game without having to do anything besides a keybind

This type of issue is usually related to some settings in your desktop app. First, we0d recommend checking in your app settings if you have the option "Show desktop overlay when using media keys" toggled ON. Also, make sure you're using the correct commands by checking the command list. You can find more info in this article.

If the issue persists after this, it could be related to some damaged cache stored on your device. In this case, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This is often an overlooked step, but it's more thorough than a quick one and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

In case the issue is still not fixed, include in your next response the OS version of your device and the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating.
