I've been getting the exact same issue since the most recent update (which was a few days ago). Hopefully someone has an answer for us?

So i got this weird issue with my work laptop. When i play music with the application there are some songs that i cant play (not grayed or local) and if i start playing on my phone or other computer it dosnt pause (Im playing on two units at the same time). If i use the browser everything is working fine (I can play one song on application and one on browser at the same time on the same computer).

I have tried different networks, reinstalling, clearing cash. When i try to playback a song that dosnt work it just stays at 0:00 and the play/pause button gets grayed out.

Any suggestions? 😃

Hey folks,

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

@aspeffs, @dsh89 can you let us know the make/model and OS of your device along with the Spotify version you have running?

On another note, and just to confirm, did you follow the steps in this article to perform a clean reinstall on your devices? By doing that the app can be up-to-date and you can make sure the cache is not leading to this inconvenience. There are in that article some steps that are commonly overruled, so we suggest to start from that.

Lastly, did you notice if this started to happen after a specific event, such as an OS update? If yes, please send us the details.

Keep us in the loop!

Hey @aspeffs,

Thanks for your reply.

Since this only happens with your work computer, it's best to ask your company's system administrator if there's something about your particular setup that might be causing this.

@dsh89, can you please confirm if this happens on a work pc as well?

Keep us posted.
