&lt;P&gt;This type of issue is commonly related to a set up with more than 1 monitor. If you have more than one monitor, check your PC settings to see if the monitor selected has the correct aspect ratio.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If it happens with just one monitor when maximized, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in &lt;A href="https://support.spotify.com/article/reinstall-spotify/" target="_blank"&gt;this article&lt;/A&gt;. This is often an overlooked step, but it's more thorough than a quick one and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This problem is on my laptop the same. I have a single monitor setup, but with a 1920x1080 resulotion and 150% scale, but in 100% the same problem exists.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm running on version spotify for windows 1.2.0.1165.gabf054ab&lt;/P&gt;</description>
