My Question or Issue

Spotify Connect deliberately does not work on the PC version.

Despite all my efforts and reinstalls, I can't get Spotify Connect to work on the PC version of the app. Nothing seems to work: neither the sync with Discord, nor the scrobbles with Last.fm, while everything works fine on the mobile app and the web player. It just stopped working out of nowhere after a simple Windows restart. Does anyone have a solution?

Hey @Matthack_,

Thanks for posting in the Community and the troubleshooting already tried.

Have you performed a clean reinstall though? Here is a description on how to do it.

If this doesn't solve the issue, we advise you to try a different internet connection and to switch the source of the desktop app. Use the version from the Microsoft store or the version from the Spotify site.
