Download spotify to D Drive on Windows 10 PC

When I download and install Spotify to my Windows PC it installs on my C drive. But my C drive is not for Apps. I want it to install to my D Drive. How can this be done please?

Hey there, welcome to the Spotify Community!

I understand you want to move your installation to another location. It is not possible to directly do this on the App downloaded from Spotify.com but you can try installing the Spotify App from Microsoft Store. Then head over to Settings -> Apps -> Installed Apps -> Move Spotify. However, if you are referring to the offline cache and downloaded songs then here are the steps for moving the offline data:

Open the settings page
Scroll down to Storage
Configure your download location using the Offline Storage Location option
Pick your Drive -> Folder
Restart the App

Possibly, you can download the installer from the Spotify web site, create a new folder called 'Spotify' on your D drive, cut/paste the .exe file in there, and install it - at least some of the files will end up in there. I'm not sure if all of them will show up, but it did for me on my C drive, installing in another folder than the usual one. If not, you can find the other installed files in AppData/Roaming/Spotify I think, and cut/paste them to your D drive.
