&lt;P&gt;The error message you mentioned may indicate different issues depending on the device you're getting it from. We understand you've already tried a reinstall process, but to be sure that we're on the same page - did you use the steps for a &lt;STRONG&gt;clean reinstall &lt;/STRONG&gt;mentioned in &lt;A href="https://support.spotify.com/article/reinstall-spotify/" target="_blank"&gt;this article&lt;/A&gt;?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If so and the issue persists, since this error could be related to firewall restrictions of your antivirus, if you're having this error on a PC, make sure that Spotify is an exception in your firewall restrictions.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Also, check if you're connected to a VPN since this could be affecting the proper behavior of the app. If so, turn it off and try again.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
