I recently upgraded to premium and it's been working fine on my macbook and iphone but once I reinstalled spotify on my windows computer I kept getting the "Something went wrong" error when logging in. I tried the web player and I have the exact same problem. I've tried opening in private windows and using different browser but the issue persists. I've gone in and reinstalled the app several times as well as clearing various caches storage but the problem persists. I'm not sure how relevant this is to the problem but a few years back my brother downloaded a cracked version of spotify on the computer unbeknownst to me and that may or may not be impacting the problem (idk just covering my bases). It was deleted but nothing has changed.

Hi there @John_Rosehammy,

Thanks for reaching out and welcome aboard! Here's what you can try out:

Have a look through your PC files and control panel to see if there's any residual data or installs from the "cracked" version you mentioned. Remove any you find.

Double check your firewall and antivirus settings and make sure Spotify is allowed through

If you're using a VPN, disable it

Hope this helps.
